SDX Session (Manager): Hiring doesn't have to suck

Kaylin Bailey, Illuminate Education Room 327, 3:00-3:30 Support is one of the most perplexing roles to hire for. In most other positions, there is a clear black and white list of skills that make someone good at their job. In support, it is shades of gray. A wide range of different experience and qualities can make for a good support hire, but how do you know if someone has what it takes? In this session we'll talk about how to setup a job posting that gets the right applicants, create an interview that is fair and objective, and build out a tracking system to help you identify which applicants are right for your team. By the end of this session you will have the foundation of a document that will help you ask the right questions, and find the right people for your support team.
