SDX Session (Technical): Beginner's guide to AWS: how to host a simple site

Andrew Goetz, New Relic

With most companies using AWS is some form or another, and with the recent AWS outage this month which affected many companies, I figured support professionals would like to get a bit more detail on what AWS is and how it is used in the real world. They can do the prep work of setting up their own AWS account and other than that shouldn't need much else than a text editor, browser and internet access. Afterwards we can disable everything (so no one will be charged the small hosting fees) or they can leave it up and build the site further.
